Thanks to the AVDC new homes bonus grant we have been able to purchase materials to increase the amount of site access track and to fence the site boundary. The grant allowed us to fulfill the wishes of our plot holders from recent surveys and consultation we have undertaken.

With the grant money providing a majority of the cost of materials, we had a good turn out of committee members and plot holders to provide the labour for laying the track stone, and also the fixing of the site perimeter fencing. We would like to sincerely thank all those that turned up in their own time to complete these projects.

Both projects have been a complete success with all plot holders, and particularly the less able now being able to reach their plots at the far end of the site on the new track. The new fencing also provides a secure deterrent for stray dogs and deer entering the plots and destroying the crops our members have worked hard to grow.
